Tevin Powers, PT, DPT, CSCS, Cert. DN, FAAOMPT
Tevin is originally from San Angelo, TX where he attended Angelo State University. He graduated with a B.S. in Biology following his undergraduate work, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016. Tevin was able to play 1 year of collegiate baseball for Western Texas College before succumbing to knee injuries. Having experienced multiple surgeries and injuries, he made the decision to return to San Angelo and build a skill set to help others return to sports and fitness after their own struggles with pain and injury. He completed a 3-year fellowship in manual therapy and movement specialties through the Manual Therapy Institute in 2020 which required 2 years of academic work and 440 hours of residency/mentorship. At this time, he has level 1 and level 2 certifications in Functional Dry Needling. Tevin has been involved with the recovery of several CrossFit athletes in El Paso, San Angelo, and the DFW area.
Currently, Tevin lives in San Angelo, TX with his wife, Karli, who is also a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and graduate of Angelo State University where she competed on the women’s basketball team. During his free time, Tevin enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, fishing, and hunting.
